Our company was established over a year ago with the primary vision of providing alternatives and solutions to the plastic menace, that is damaging our land and waters.
Our Name & Logo:
Anshumala means a string of rays, often primarily of the SUN, the source of all energy. This energy drives the cycle of life on Earth and produces the plants and trees, which are essential to the survival of all living things. These plants, trees and animals in turn complete their cycle on this planet and leave something behind, contributing to the soil on which they grow and live.
OUR LOGO comprises of a Peepal (Ficus Religiosa) leaf and five colours- Blue, White, Yellow, Red and Black.
Peepal is one of the most sacred trees of India. In “Bhagwad Gita” too Shri Krishna says- “I am the Peepal tree among all the trees” (““अश्वत्थ: सर्वव्रुक्षाणाम्”).
We chose the leaf of Peepal due its religious, cultural and environmental significance.
The four colours- Black, Blue, Red, Yellow around the leaf and the fifthe colour, White, in the middle of the leaf signify the “Panchtatava”, or the five elements.
Our Logo depicts the main goal of our venture- “providing such alternatives to plastic that are sustainable, eco-friendly and get absorbed in the Earth”- thus giving back to the soil. The leaf also stands for the new life that grows from it. As we believe that all life is made up of the five elements and eventually gets absorbed in it.
Our Motto:
The increase in human population, our consumption patterns and technical evolutions led to the discovery of Plastic. This super multifunctional material, which was once considered to be a boon, has now become a bane for our planet.
Being non-biodegradable it lives on the planet for hundreds of years. Its components get leached onto soil and water. This cycle of pollution can only be broken if we come together to reduce our usage of plastic in our lives.
This is where our company aims to operate. To provide such alternates to plastic that do not cause harm to either our planet or your health.
